Stromboli Wraps

" Stromboli gets a makeover with these Italian-style wraps. Warm flour tortillas are spread with a savory pesto marinara sauce and wrap around a filling of salami, capicola, shredded cheese and roasted red peppers. 15 minutes in the oven results in golden wraps that are chock full of incredible flavor."

    jar (24 ounces) Prego® Pesto Marinara Italian Sauce or Prego® Marinara Italian Sauce, heated OR Prego® Pesto Marinara Italian Sauce

    (10-inch) flour tortillas, warmed

    cup shredded Italian cheese blend (about 8 ounces)

    ounce salami, thinly sliced

  • 6

    ounce capicola or ham, thinly sliced

  • 1/2

    cup roasted red bell pepper, cut into strips

      Heat the oven to 400¬į F.¬† Spray a baking sheet with the cooking spray.

      Spread 1/4 cup sauce on each tortilla to within 1 inch of the edge.  Sprinkle each with 1/2 cup cheese.  Divide the salami, ham and roasted peppers among the tortillas.  Fold two opposite sides in 2 inches over the filling.  Starting at the bottom, roll up to enclose the filling.  Place the wraps, seam-side down, onto the baking sheet.

      Bake for 12 minutes or until the wraps are golden brown.  Let the wraps cool on the baking sheet on a wire rack for 5 minutes.  Serve with the remaining sauce for dipping.
