pound sweet Italian pork sausage, casing removed
large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
teaspoon garlic powder or 2 cloves garlic, minced
cup Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
cup Swanson® Chicken Broth Or Swanson® Certified Organic Chicken Broth Or Swanson® Natural Goodness® Chicken Broth
can (about 15 ounces) black beans or Pinto beans, rinsed and drained
can (about 15 ounces) white kidney beans (cannellini), rinsed and drained
can (about 15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Cook the sausage, onion and garlic powder in a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat until the sausage is browned, stirring often to separate meat. Pour off any fat.
Stir the Italian sauce and broth in the saucepan and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 10 minutes. Add the beans and cook until they're heated through.
