tablespoon vegetable oil
pound skinless, boneless chicken breast halves or skinless, boneless chicken thighs, cut into cubes
medium onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
clove garlic, minced
jar (24¬†ounces) Prego® Chunky Garden Mushroom & Green Pepper Italian Sauce
cup dry red wine or water
of a 1-pound package rotini (spiral) pasta, cooked and drained
Heat¬†the oil in¬†a 10-inch¬†skillet over medium-high heat. Add¬†the chicken and onion and cook¬†for 10 minutes or until¬†the chicken is browned, stirring often.¬† Add the garlic and cook and stir for 1 minute.
Stir¬†in the sauce and wine and heat to a boil.¬† Reduce the heat to low.¬† Cover and cook¬†for 5 minutes¬†or until¬†the chicken is cooked through.¬† Serve the chicken mixture with the rotini.
