Creamy Alfredo sauce is spread on prepared pizza crusts and topped with mozzarella cheese, seasoned tomatoes and fresh basil. It just doesn’t get any easier or more delicious than this! Give it a try, it’s sure to become a pizza night favorite.
package (16 ounces) prepared pizza crust (2 crusts, 11-inch each )
jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Basil Pesto Alfredo Sauce
cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 4 ounces)
medium tomatos, cut into 1/4-inch slices
teaspoon salt and pepper
cup sliced fresh basil leaves
Heat the oven to 425°F.
Place the pizza crusts onto 2 baking sheets. Spread about 3/4 cup alfredo sauce over each crust to within 1/2-inch of the edge. Sprinkle with the cheese and top with the tomato slices. Season the tomatoes with salt and black pepper.
Bake for 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with the basil. Let stand for 5 minutes and cut each pizza into 6 slices.
