Sautéed onion, basil and white wine combine with Alfredo and Italian sauce to make the perfect partner for farfalle pasta. It’s simple, delicious and on the table in just 25 minutes.
tablespoon olive oil
large onion, chopped (about 1 cup)
teaspoon dried basil leaves, crushed
cup white wine or chicken broth
jar (14.5 ounces) Prego® Light Homestyle Alfredo Sauce Or Prego® Homestyle Alfredo Sauce
cup Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce
ounce farfalle (bow tie) pasta, cooked, drained
Heat the oil in a 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onion and basil and cook for 3 minutes or until the onion is tender, stirring occasionally. Stir in the wine and cook for 1 minute.
Stir the Alfredo sauce and the Italian sauce in the skillet. Reduce the heat to low and cook for 5 minutes or until the mixture is hot and bubbling, stirring occasionally. Toss with the pasta.
