The kids are gone, the music is playing and the house is ready for romance. Now you'll need to work on the center of the action—the table. Here are some great ideas to help you design a sensual setting for your romantic meal:
- Break out the good stuff! This is the night to use your best china, silverware and crystal.
- Candles are a must. If you have fancy candle holders, use them. Try to stay away from scented candles—you don't want to overpower the aroma of the food.
- Choose a smaller table, if possible—so you're closer to each other!
- Buy fresh flowers for your centerpiece. If you choose roses, sprinkle some of the petals on and around the table.
